Some things are in dutch (NL .net version)
Translation of the first sentence is: Absolute Path information needed

My windows xp is slipstreamed and all the programs go to D: (exept the map windows)

Tryed to reinstall .net, no go

When does this error exactly come? when you start the program or when you press a specific button?

Is your windows in someway modified like a program that removed things from windows? Is there maybe a log file in the Driver Cleaner.NET Log folder? if so please email that to info at drivercleaner dot net.

So windows is installed on C:\ and the programs are installed on D:\?

I naver had this error before so i am trying to get more info and see if i can fix it.

My windows installation has been modified. Movie maker, windows messenger etc are removed. Latest updates for xp ( last month ) were slipstreamed and my raid driver also slipstreamed. Also the path where the default directory is, is also changed to D: (instead of c:\program files, and this change has been done at the installation CD, so not done manual afther installation). Windows en everything exept emails and personal map are on C: installed. (also local settings, application data, pagefile, settings of the users are on C: )

There is no log file in the map, I checked.

I get that error, then I push continue. I recieve the window where you must choose what items you want to clean. But when I click on the list to choose something to remove, instead of a list to choose from , I get a blanc list. ( 1 white line )

Hi,

can you send an email to info at drivercleaner dot net and then make a small description and then i can send you a small test program. With the info you can copy and past to me then i can see if it gets the paths right.

Through the great service and support we solved the problem. Here is the solution for future peeps who maybe will have this problem:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion

The "ProgramFilesDir" and "CommonFilesDir" must have the correct setting. It must be a setting like:

example for CommonFilesDir: "D:\Common Files"

example for ProgramFilesDir: "D:\" or "C:\Program files"

My mistake was that I change my pre xp installation cd ProgramFilesDir setting in "D:" with out the " \ " !!! Its important that you use the " \ " even if you havent specified a default directory ^^
