How difficult is replacing a cpu and heatsink? (AM2)
I have never done this but I have a new cpu and a new heatsink and fan.
The most I have done is replace ram and videocards. By the way my heatsink is [COLOR=#009900]coolermaster[/COLOR] vortec 752. I'm more worried about taking the existing one off though... Should I try this or wait and get someone to show me? Anyone know of a good guide? |

Its really straightforward and unless you are really worried about it I wouldn't be concerned.
there are many guides on the net, however coolermaster have an installation guide for the vortex on their site, for some reason they used a jpeg format instead of PDF so it takes a little while to download if you are on a slower line. http://www.coolermaster.com/uploads/...3468712378.jpg |
