Over half of the replies in the competition disgust me...

It's really sad that at least half the posts in that competition are all people trying to fake a disability/use one to their advantage to make people feel sorry for them. Do they honestly expect to win?

Do they realize that if some of them actually put forth their efforts to posting something useful, they could actually have a chance of winning?

It really annoys me when people try to get everybody to feel bad for them for one thing or another. It's the same thing with spam. When I get bored I usually read the spam in my spam filter, just for kicks and giggles, and some of them are just absolutely ridiculus. I'm sure that there are some people out there with a similar problem, but they sure as hell would do not do what these people do.

I dunno, just a rant. Those replies in the competition just vex me, that's all

Do what I do, laugh or throw up. After a couple of pages I stopped reading them. I feel sorry for the people that have to read all the posts in that thread.

I get what you are saying and I guess you are talking about my post in this, I put it in mostly as a joke(notice the LOL at the end) but to be honest I really have been disabled for the last 3 going on 4 years and it hasn't been easy. Do I really think I would win it, NO, but don't crap on everyone because some of us are legit with our injuries. A little joke here and there takes the edge off and if you can't figure that out then you have the real disability no me.

After reading that line, do you honestly think that anyone that tries to play on peoples sympathy in order to be chosen the winner is going to actually win anything BUT the sympathy they are asking for? Seriously, it's not going to happen.

Oh no, I am not going to take part in the competition, it would be unfair since I won last time, plus even if I would win, I don't know if I will have a desktop PC in 6 months for now. It would be better for someone who is going to take full advantage of it to win it.

It's just a competition guys, people are allowed to beg all they want. Its only disappointing when people truely feel entitled to whatever is up for grabs, and badmouth the staff/winners/company when they don't win. I roll my eyes at whinning a bit, during and after the competition, but I guess it's to be expected.

I will say though, some are funny, so competition threads are fun to troll on occasion.
