x48-DQ6 Problem
Well I got my gigabyte x48-DQ6 mainboard today and took the old parts out of my case and started putting things on the Gigabyte board. I've got a Thermalright SI-128 and for some reason I cannot fathom I cannot get the push pins to lock down to hold the heatsink in place. I get one side locked down but cannot the other side to do the same. I'm wondering if the base of the SI-128 is just too big. Could someone recommend a heatsink that would work on this board. Or am I doing something wrong. The face plate that covers the processor seems somewhat bent. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've spent a little time looking into somethings about this board and found out that the back heatsink is removable. I've got an Thermalright Ultra-120 that should work. With the Ultra-120 I have to use a backplate to hold the heatsink in place, just not sure how to remove that copper backplate.

There are times when I can really be a big dummy. I guess I should learn to open the OM and read it first. Everything is there that I need to know. Thanks for jump starting me, PJ.
