Might have to check this one out. Between this price, and what I paid for Two Worlds, I'm really beginning to like Steam.

Ya people complain about paying full price and not getting a tangible object in their hands, but sales like this are ran way more frequently than at retail space.

To be honest i prefer digital downloads, don't have to wait ages for a box to arrive, then ages trying to tear the packaging open. It's also great that i don't need to look for No CD/DVD cracks anymore

Prey is a good game man..... gets you pretty dizzy though and the final boss's AI sucks, but over all, its good, dont regret paying 30 bucks for the collectors edition......

tbh i though prey was average at best but saying that for the price its being offered its well worth checking out for ppl that love first person shooters or anyone that doesnt have a lot of spare $$$ for games.

I finished the game on the xbox 360 and it was well worth the price (2 euros rental fee for 1 week).
It's a good FPS, that you might enjoy even more if you like sci-fi themes.

You could get someone to buy it as a gift for you through Steam, or see if you can buy it as a gift, and then give it to yourself.
Edit: although the deal is over now.... oh well.

The price of Prey here is not to bad compared to the original price of the game, usually you can even just see the 50% duties you're paying extra for anything you buy here, and that means that the retailer or supplier was able to get it at a cheaper price which is good for the end user. You should have seen the price for things here a few years ago, knock your socks off for sure.
I enjoyed playing Prey quite alot. Though there was a problem with my ram modules when I was on Prey, Murphy's law still failed to put a damper on the game for me while I was playing the game and that just goes to show how damn good a game Prey was indeed.
Using Unreals engine was probably one of the things that diminished it's feel of originality, however, for me the thing that impressed me most was the quality of the coding of the game that went into it, if you look at games past like Hitman Contracts for example, you begin to appreciate the fact that they went all out allowing other people with older machines to enjoy the action too.
