I don't think all the car manufaturers agreed to show their prodution cars getting damaged in the game hence why there's never been damage in the GT series.
This game is going to create of many PS3 sales. I know a lot of people that bought the PS2 just for GT3 when it came out.
Looks like they could of polished it a bit more going on that review, but it is a huge game and I suppose there will always be certain things that aren't perfect.
