Mic problems/interference

Ever since I reformatted my computer, reinstalled my KX Drivers, and haven't been able to access the KX Mic setup web site, I have had this problem. I never had it before when I could setup my Mic off the KX Mic Setup, i tried using Maddogs DSP config but still have it. What happens is if I'm playing a game or music or anything and try to talk over Ventrilo, the people I try to talk to hear what is coming out of my headset (the game, music, whatever I'm doing). I can't figure out what to do to stop this from happening, if i exit out of what I'm doing, then talk, they hear me just fine seeing how there is no sound going into my headset. The soundcard is an Audigy 2 ZS. Thanks in advance for the help!

try opening the Kx mixer, go to the recording page. The upper left slider should be for your main speakers?? Make sure this slider is all the way to the bottom, i had this problem too while troubleshooting something else.

Hope this helps.

I went into recording and moved the Wave Recording slider the whole way to the bottom and that did the trick, I'll see what the master recording level does too. Thanks for your response!
