Windows Visata 32bit home Upgrade to ultimate, install x64 revisted
Sorry long title...
but
I had asked this shortly after vista came out and i'm having a hard time find a clear solution to the problem at hand... before where it was mostly just a "question" is now an emediately issue as the circumstance is now is in motion.
Heres the facts and information of the current situation:
User has Computer A, which is currently installed with Retail package of windows vista home premium 32bit, and THEN upgraded via the upgrade anytime to windows vista 32bit ultimate eddition.
User now has Computer B, which he wants to transfer the liecense and whatnot to from computer a, but wants to install windows vista ultimate 64bit. While completely wiping computer A's information off, and then selling the computer with another new copy of oem windows vista x64.
The conditions are:
The user only has windows vista 32bit home premium cd (which yes included the ultimate as well).... but doesn't have the 64bit cd, but wants to install the 64bit cd.
What are the clear options available.... i'm researching this as type this.... but want to make sure things are all ironed out before i go ahead and do something .....
