Replace 8800 GTX With 9600 GT
I'm just wondering if it would be worth while to get one of the new 9600 GT to replace my 8800 GTX? Since I put my system together with the eVGA motherboard 780i, Intel e8400 CPU and 4 gigs of Patriot Viper memory, I've getting this nvlddmkm error message and nothing I've tried will cure the problem. I've read over at the EVGA message boards that this problems seems to run with the 8000 series of Nvidia video cards. Good or bad idea.

I wouldn't its a waste of money, IMO. The 8800gtx is faster, isn't it?
The error you're getting is probably a driver thing. Give drivercleaner a shot and see what you get,

Thanks guys. I didn't think it would be worth the effort or the money, but want to confirm it. Thanks.

Tell you what, if you decide you want to get rid that POS 8800gtx, I would be happy to help you get rid of it. I will take it free of charge.
