Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7802 XP Drivers

Hey all, newbie here. I have a new Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7802 and I've installed XP on a partition I made. Now when the laptop boots, it goes straight to XP, so I don't know how to get back to Vista. Anyway, I found most of my drivers, but I can't find three. Here's the

Audio device on high definition audio bus:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0268&SUBSYS_1179FF08& REV_1000\4&3AAC0BF&0&0301

Modem device on high definition audio bus:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_11C1&DEV_1040&SUBSYS_11790001& REV_1002\4&3AAC0BF&0&0001

Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_791F&SUBSYS_FF001179&REV_00\4&14A FA61C&0&2808

Also, at first the first two drivers were one driver called PCI Device, but some driver I tried to install split them in two. Anyway, somebody help! What do I do?

To get back to Vista Vista Boot Pro might be able to help you.

For audio you first need UAA driver from Microsoft to be installed before the audio driver itself.

The video controller is ATi mobility X1200 so get the newest drivers from ATI and use mobility modder to mod the drivers so you can install them on your system. Remember to read the instructions on the mobility modder site.

Get the modtool here : http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/

I cannot find the driver for ati mobility x1200 on the ati website. I went to the driver page, but I can only find x1200 for inegrated/motherboard. I went to the driverheaven download page but it only gives version numbers of catalyst and I don't know which one I need. So I can't find any mobility x1200 driver. Are you sure it's what I need?

I meant these drivers for the mod tool : AMD GAME! Drivers and Utilities

Have you looked the Vista Boot Pro?? VistaBootPRO - Go PRO with Microsoft Windows Vista Boot Manager

With that you should be able to get the Vista installation back to work

Dude, I got everything working! Temeteus82 rocks, DriverHeaven.net rocks, and I owe you both bigtime.

I actually by luck figured out the audio stuff right before your first reply by doing exactly what you said.

I ran mod tool on some versions of the ati driver I had already downloaded. The first one didn't work, the second one did. The name of the file was 8-2-mobile_xp32_dd_ccc_enu_58131. It seems to work! If I run into any problems I'll try the one you just linked to.

Anyway...phew! Everything works, except, of course, the hotkeys.

I'll try the boot pro thing too. THANK YOU!

EDIT: Just looked and the filename of the driver download you recommended ends in 58128. The filename of the one I used, which seemed to work, ends in 58131. So I used something different and it seemed to work. Not sure what that means.

I'm glad to hear that you got them working.

If I saw correctly there is a guide in Vista Boot Pro's page how to do the install of XP when you got pre-installed vista so I would think that the end part of that guide would be helpful for you

I'm also trying to downgrade my P205D-S7802 and I've been having troubles locating all the drivers, I was wondering if you could possibly tell me where you got your drivers? Mainly for the network adapter. Also, someone shot me the link for omegadrivers.net for the video card, do you know if this place is any good?

+++ Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7802 XP Drivers +++ LINKS HERE !!!!!!!! +++

Hey, people!
I bought that Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7802 laptop and thought that it would be easy to lay a Win XP on it, but like everybody here knows - they made it pretty damn hard...
So, I spent like a whole night for searching and was able to put the whole laptop hardware together into one Driver Genius'07 self-installing archive inside a .RAR archive + all the drivers separately put in folders into 2 part .RAR archive (in case self-install won't install everything, so you can do it manually)...
All the files are on RapidShare.Com, so you can download only 1 file an hour. But you only need one (self-install). The others you will have to get in case the first one won't work...
ENJOY!!! The laptop is flying like a rocket under XP - SCREW VISTA !!!

Hello everyone! I want to get rid of this Vista and put on XP on a p205d-s7802. How should I do it? Do I format the HD first? Will the recovery disk that comes with it work after this? Thank you

Tanks a lot for the genius file. Worked great on Toshiba Satilite P205D-S7438. Did not check the processor drivers though. In the main device driver screen all the yellow question marks are GONE and the computer is running a lot faster (SCREW VISTA!). In the hidden section I still have a Unknown device under ACPI. When I search huh... I'm not the only one. I don't care for the FN keys.

Again thanks for helping me out

Unfortunately on toshibas site they only have one 64bit driver for your laptop..

Were you able to get any of the drivers at all? Or are you missing all of them?
