Crossfire crash
hi, im new to Crossfire and i have strange crashes with Games.
My system is up to date. (Vista ultimate 64Bit)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Formula( latest bios)
CPU: Intel Core 2 6750
Memory: 8GB Geil
2x His 3870 CAT 8.1
all latest Drivers installed.
Crossfire is enabled in CCC, A.I. is on standard. When i start a game and play it for 1 or 2 minutes my sys hangs up with a bluescreen. It says ATI Crash or so......
When i set A.I. off all runs fine with no problems(Crossfire is disabled when i set it to off).
Yesterday i played with Crossfire on and A.i. on standard, all games run very smooth and good. I played a game for 10 minutes (DOD Source) and then my sys crash with a ATI Error.
what can i do to resolve this Problem. Any help here. Are there buttons in the CCC to take away the crashes.
Sorry for my bad english but this is not my mother language.
greetings and a nice day

ok, iŽll think this is not normal.
I put out 4gb of ram. System starts normal. Crossfire is enabled in CCC. A.I. on standard. Then fired up TF2, iŽll played the game for 5 minutes then bluescreen with an ATI bla bla bla error. Then i restart my system for 10 times or so, always the same errormessage. IŽl put out my secondary crossfire card and restart my system. No ATI Driver installed(????). reinstalled the driver and give it a go. All normal!!!!! Then i put in my secondary card. Crash, same error. I put the 2. Card in the upper slot(arghhhhhhhhhhhhh). Vertical and horizontal lines on my screen and screen flashing. Card out and the other one on the first slot. All normal.
My graphic card is dead. This is the second HIS 3870 Card who goes back to the shop where i bought it.
Whats going on with my crossfiresetup.
i hope anyone can help me.

that sounds exactly like a bad card
that's odd that and very unlikely to have received 2 bad cards in a row... but it happens..
return and get a 2nd.
