2/19/08 X-Fi Prelude Driver Update

Auzentech has released a new driver package for the X-Fi Prelude.

Auzentech Uodates

Weighs in at a hefty 150MB

I still get random "sound loop" issues with DDL on Vistax64. Example...I'll be watching a video or playing a game (happens most with The Witcher) and the sound will start skipping repeatedly. Toggling DDL with the volume panel stops the looping sound, but also requires me to exit the media program or game.

Anybody else seeing the looping sound issues? For example, some nights I queue a bunch of video files to play as I go to bed, and I wake up to "BAH-BAH-BAH-BAH". The sound ends if I disable DDL and re-enable it. I've also seen it while playing certain games, such as "The Witcher". Sound loops after 5 minutes of playing, but sometimes I can go an hour or more without any problems.

I have had the looping issue with the other 12/28 RC5 driver and the current drivers. I haven't tried any older drivers, since I got my card around xmas.

Again, I'm running Vista x64.
