Midi In & Asio

I want to capture MIDI from my e-drums Yamaha DTXpress and instantly replay it using ASIO and programs like ez drummer or BFD. Can I buy DIN->MIDI/GAME cable and plug it into SB100 by using kX? Will be there MIDI IN support? Currently I have Live! 24-bit, and I don't have any EMU10K card but I can get it. Maybe any other reasonable ideas on how to plug MIDI into computer?
Thanks.

System Specs

any card that has a gameport (some motherboards even have a header/bracket for one) will support midi, both in and out, via one of the cables you mentioned

other than that you can purchase USB-Midi adaptors pretty cheap these days, if you can find one, i recommend a terratec midi hubble
