Hi everyone. I just built my first new computer and I'm giving my old one to my mom to use. They have high speed internet (cable) and my neice has a Linksys router set up in her bedroom. The computer I'm giving my mom is going in the living room and there is a wall between the two rooms. I have searched high and low on the web looking for information about this and that is how I found this forum. Is a wireless PCI card the only thing I need to get my mom hooked up onto their internet?
I went ahead and ordered a wireless card already;
EDIMAX EW-7128G 802.11b/g PCI Wireless Card. According to the info I've been able to locate on the web this is all it seems I need, but I want to be sure.
Any help would be appreciated.
