550Pro lockup issues.

I recently reinstalled Windows on my spare computer and everytime I go to use the TV-Tuner card (MSI Theatre 550pro) the application it is running locks up before I get to see any output. (Nero Vision[Nero 8.2.8.0] and VirtualDub 1.77).

Software I Tested this with.

Omega Radeon Drivers (Cat 7.12 based) -> X850XT PE
ATI 7.9, 7.12, and 8.1 based WDM Theatre 550Pro Drivers.
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition SP2 Fully Patched (Yes this is a Desktop)

Anyone have any ideas what I could do to get this to work again...

Maybe install a stock SP2? I'm not sure what Tablet PC Edition fully entails (I'm assuming pen input and other such functions) but it just adds another variable to an already ominous problem.

It's basically XP Professional with a few addon programs for pen support in the OS. As far as I can tell there really isn't that much of a difference. But then again I can't install a vanilla XP Pro on that system as I don't have a CD-key for one. Other then that I don't think the user of that system would be very happy... (Girlfriend). I have tried some older drivers and have found one that works, but still not as well as I would like it too.
