I don't really think we have enough details to his case to say he accidentally OD'd or not. What actors work through or what problems he might have been suffering from are beyond me. As an example, he could have been prescribed two different drugs for different things. Doctors may have known of any adverse side affects of the pills with each other. Also from what I've read up on this case its all still speculation.
While I do agree with your stance on dependency on prescribed drugs I can't say this case is a valid example to prove your point until we have all the information on it.
As far as people crying over it. It is the same as if any young person OD'd. It is a sad thing and a waste but I didn't know them personally
