I am guessing that you do not have a 5.1 setup (or it is a 3537/SB022x issue). kX swaps the front and rear speakers by default (and the default speaker mode is 2.1), so if you have no rear speakers, you will have no sound. Uncheck the Swap Front and Rear option on the Main page of kxmixer, and use the speaker setup applet to setup your speakers.

Ok... you will need to put that back, or reinstall... In the future you should probably just use MSConfig or another startup manager to stop kxmixer from starting with Windows.

This is normal, the default should be kX Wave 0/1 for both (but you should have more options for audio playback).

You need to setup kxmixer correctly to in order to record from the MIC. See the following:
MD6 - KX Mic Setup(default DSP config)


BTW: 3537 is an older version of the driver, and it did not fully support all of the SB022x models, so I would suggest using a newer version of the driver. 3539 is currently the latest version.
