Hi there! I've just assembled my HTPC, and it's now running on a Windows Vista x32 operation system. The install of Vista went smoothly, until i was to install the drivers for my ATi products (both for my graphics card and chipset). I'm used to nVidia cards and older ATi cards, so the Vista implementation of CIM is new to me.
After installing the windows updates, i decided to install the motherboard and graphics card drivers, which for one used to be a simple thing. I visited AMD's Radeon driver download page, and downloaded the Vista x32 version drivers. Everything looked as it used to do, with the only difference being CMI opening as soon as i clicked on the driver icon.
It seems as if CIM has some trouble finding my card (HD2400PRO, PCIe), plus it looks like it is installing an old version of the chipset drivers (1.0? Should be 7.3 according to ABIT. See picture)

(Note: HD2400PRO drivers missing and the outdated version number of the chipset drivers)
I have also tested the included CD drivers from ASUS, which actually worked great. But i would rather avoid using these drivers, and download the most up to date drivers from the internet.
