7800gs AGP CODUO problem

using 169.21 omega forceware, I have the same problem with Nvidia 169.21. please look at pics to see, Knife and flags do not render properly.

the 169.21 driver was the culprit. 163.75 works fine.

Curious, i'm having the same problem, but in MOHAA: Spearhead, and only with K98 gun and some furnitures in the game. I have installed yesterday the new Omega drivers for my 7600GT. So, do you suggest to roll back to a prior versión of Forceware drivers?

It's typical for current drivers to have problem with older games. Problem is, with a game that old, there aren't drivers from the time is was released which support your card. It's probably going to be a matter of installing a few drivers to see which one solves the problem. For that card, I'd try the 81.xx or 84.xx series drivers and see if it solves your problem. It should be noted that if you are playing other more current games, you might have support problems with them using the older drivers. Good luck!

I also have a 7900gtx installed on a different machine. CODOU behaves the same way with the 169.21 drivers. When I use the 163 drivers the problem is fixed but then COD4 is terrible, alot of detail is just black sillouette, with no depth or detail. The game play in CODUO is fine it is just the annoying lack od texture on some sufaces. I guess using multiple drivers would solve the problem, but that is quite a hassle.
