Lesbianism/Homosexuality?
I was wondering what DriverHeaven thought about Lesbianism and Homosexuality? I've had to format tonight because of windows not booting properly anymore and i was listening to Tatu during the installation on my SanDisk Sansa (WHICH I LOVE SO DAMNED MUCH) and the thought hit me.
Which gender your'e attracted to isn't a choice that you make, it's what your'e born as and that won't change no matter how much you want it to, even if you do end up marrying a woman if your'e gay it wouldn't be natural and hence unhappy.
I really don't see what the world's goverments are afraid of, the more married couples they have, the more money they get after all.

the government is "saposed" to be the people...
and if the people... specially religious book pushing government workers or people representing the people are like this.... they are going to obviously fight something that according to ones religions is "wrong"...
As for natural or unnatural.... i think that's a bit of a joke seeing as just about any animal out there, even plants and other species that do indeed have a "gender".... have as long as since forever, had relations with the same gender...
Course there are a number of misinformation/non-factional infomration floating about just as much as there is true and factual information that isn't making it out there...
Personally, i'm in no way sitting on the fence..... i support gay/lesbian's.... it's not a cult/religion and "way".....
But there is a line i draw where the point of going over the top has been hit and gone over again occasionally..
It's as bad as racism, there have been instances where someone has made the stupid claim that because they appear "gay" or whatnot, that they are less privilaged or end up with no support or whatever..
Just don't stick it in my face, i'll let you be, and do whatever you want so long as you don't steal/kill/other such things that are counter productive.... and i'll leave you all alone....

Well yeah so am i, but what do you think of the subject in general?
And judas i spose i'm the same way as you on this one, i do support Gays and Lesbians to a certain degree, but naturality? Why's it a joke? It's a natural preference which is contained in the DNA (i think) and can't be changed.
I know what's it like to be rejected for a pointless reason, since i was rejected constantly for 3 years at school, and it wasn't nice at all to say the very least.
But that's changed for me now and people are willing to socialise with me, but being rejected and shunned because of your sexuality must be like my kind of rejection but on a whole different scale, i do feel very sorry for homosexuals and lesbians that are openly hated for revealing their secret, it's an awful world we live in.

The girls of T.A.T.U. are fake lesbians. It was a way to attract publicity.
Same sex marriage is legal in Canada. (Source : Same-sex marriage in Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Being heterosexual or not does not make any difference to me. Live as you want to. It's not anybody else's business to complain about how you live your life.
I know two woman that live together. They got a child through insemination of one of them. Overall, all those that know them are supportive of them. The worse will probably be how such a kid will be treated in primary school if other kids get to know that this kid has two moms. Kids can be cruel between each others.

FYI Mousey, Tatu aren't really lesbians it was just part of the image.
I've no problem with homosexuality because it's not a choice one makes and even if it were that isn't anyone else's business. If two dudes want to get married then let them do it (it's legal here).
Homophobia mainly exists due to religious doctrines which make being gay/lesbian a sin (often punishable by death) and this has permeated other aspects of our culture. I suppose acceptance has gotten better in recent years (just look at all the gay themed tv shows) but people who think being gay is wrong need to educate themselves.

Freedom of thought, ideas and independant choices in life are important things in my book so I don't have a problem with it. And besides, I got a couple of all-girl DVDs that are quite good entertainment!!!
