overclock menu

Hoi

Dank u!

Er mag niet een menu te overclock.

Hi there

sorry i had to ask my question in english i understand it for 90%.
thanx for your answer. We start again.

I have googled for about a week and now know the beginning for oc my cpu.
My pc is a desktop from acer the Aspire m1600. F671 is the name of the mobo. Only i can't find anything about it. The bios is from phoenix Awardbios v6.00pg. The bios is exlusive for acer only(R01-B3).
In the bios menu there is nowhere a menu for oc. So i can not change the fsb speed.
I rather don't flash my bios to another because i have the pc only for 2 months.
I tried to change the cpu speed with a program so i didn't have to enter the bios but there i needed info on my mobo and that i don't have.
Is there a way to unlock tha oc menu in the bios?

most companies have OCing locked down completely, it is HIGHLY unlikely that you can OC your system no matter what....

You won't be overclocking that machine. OEM's limit the ability for the end user to overclock their systems to prevent people burning them out and then trying to warranty them.

I am beginning to believe that ocing my pc in bios is not possible. But i won't give up.
I have now Systool and i try it with that.
Hope to find the specs of the mobo so i can get the right clock generator.
I believe that this is manufactered bij ICS only i found 2 items on my mobo.
the ICS 9P935AFLF and the ICS 9LPR600CGLF.

If i get any progres on ocing i put it here.

Welcome to Driverheaven.
The best place on the internet for all your hardware questions. As mentioned before me, the pc you bought is put together by a company who has disabled the option of overclocking. So people won't be charging replacements when they fry their components. But you can always try.

What i just thought of, there is software which is able to overclock the cpu right? could that work on a OEM pc?

I found Setfsb it is software to overclock the cpu!!!!!!
Only my clockgenerator is not in the list. I send them an email and hope that they will add my clockgenerator to it.
And another step closer to ocing my cpu.
