Can't hear the AUDIO :(

Hi,

I have ASUS P5N-E SLI mobo and I have installed all drivers. Still I am unable to hear anything, volume settings are high and winamp is playing a sound and I have tried all three different places to put my audio cable to...

What it could be?

At first it complained about that I need to install Microsoft UAA HD drivers but I then installed the drivers from other installer. Could this be the reason? I can't seem to find where to get those MS UAA HD drivers...

usually hardware doesnt need any special microsoft downloads for audio in most cases.....

but since you are using Windows XP x64 bit, things will probably be ALOT harder for you.

can you give me your complete hardware specs including memory?

ok i seriously am getting confused, UAA components like this usually are installed either by windows update or the audio chipset driver itself.

did you actually get the windows XP x64-bit drivers or did you get the regular windows XP 32 bit drivers?

that could be yuor problem right there.....
