EEK! Fastest 6800??

hi, i'm wondering, out of all the manufactures, what is/was the fastest Ge Force 6800 card?

And how dose it compare to aGainward 6800GT 2400/Ultra Golden Sample?

is there much in it? is there a linky to a compare graph of the above card VS the very fastest of the 6 series?

Need to know asap.

cheers.

oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS! lol

That was a good card for it's time, but I hope you're not considering buying one now? At any rate, I'm not sure what advantage it would have over your current card.

If i remember right i think the fastest 6 series card was a 6800 Ultra from xfx with 512 mb of gddr3...

Only thing i see it doing for him is shader model 3

dude, just buy a new setup, trying to breathe life into that thing is a waste of money

the bare frame budget rig of today can kick the crap out of your current setup.

well, the only games i play are older or less demanding titles.

I am also a BIG fan of 3d shutter glasses. and i was quite content using my Ge FORCE 4 4400 Ti, but then my bro bought me STAR TREK LEGACY (i love it lol) but i didn't work with my G4400Ti

so i poped in my bros old x800 and it runs like a dream only problem is that i'm now missing playing games in REAL3D with my Shutter glasses, cause ATi don't support them you see

i figered a 6800 was the ATi's x800pros equal, if not better so i could get my 3D back.

i was thinking they would be at bargin basement £££ on ebay by now.

most 6800 Ultras are still in the 300 dollar range (one of the most expensive cards of its time) if you can find them with a few exceptions. can easily be beaten by all but the weakest of the 8 series.

8800GT 256 can completely annihilate it.

7950GT can destroy it

8600GTS can probably touch it

just go and build a new thing. buy a Core based celeron, a P31 board, 1 gig DDR2 800, and an 8600GTS

looking on ebay, the thing is still at least 200, you can get an 8800GT for that price man.....

Nvidia card, + better system
