Sad DriverCleaner Unhandled Exception

I'm a new customer who just purchased, downloaded, and installed Driver Cleaner.NET 3.2.0.6

When I try to run Live Update.NET, Driver Cleaner.NET, or Driver Version Check.NET I get the following....

Driver Cleaner seemed to install without a problem, but did not ask for registration details during the install. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Driver Cleaner.

WinXP Pro SP2 with .NET 2.0 installed (but not 1.1 or 3.0)

Any ideas?

Does this happen in safe mode? if so did you try to run it in normal windows?

You said in your email that you reinstalled the .NET Framework, but did you also redownload it? maybe you are using an beta version orso.

Hmm.. Seems like your "Framework" is f@ked up.
Try to Uninstall it.

Now Go to windows update, and install All Frameworks including 1.1 and 3.0, don't forget to install the latest .net Service Packs and all Updates..

Also make Complete Windows Update.

Now it should Run Fine

Yes to all the above questions.

This happens in safe mode and also happens if I let the the program start itself immediately after install.
Driver Cleaner seemed to install without a problem, but did not ask for registration details during the install. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Driver Cleaner several times. I have tried uninstalling Driver Cleaner then repairing .NET 2.0, uninstalling Driver Cleaner and uninstalling/reinstalling .NET 2.0, plus downloading the Driver Cleaner.NET 3.2.0.6 install file and reinstalling. I always get the same Unhandled Exception immediately upon trying to run any of the executables.

I can find no log files in the Driver Cleaner folder.

*edit* Why should I need to install .NET 1.1 and 3.0? None of the other .NET 2.0 applications I use require those.

Hi,

you don't need to install the .net 1.1 or 3.0 frameworks.
