this is my first time using this drivers. nice one. installed it, and somehow all my original creative x-fi software couldn't detect my card (it says no sound card installed). but it still sounds nice in foobar, maybe i'll try downloading the 2007 x-fi software suite tomorrow.

Hi,
tried the driver, too. Worked fine for me, but I couldn't recognize any advance compared to the old xp driver, which worked fine for me, too. In deed I doubt this vista driver brings any advance for xp users. So, why was this driver modded for use with xp?

That would be because the Xtreme Audio is not a real X-Fi (basically nothing more than a renamed SB Live 24 bit/Audigy SE) and requires its own drivers, it can not use the regular X-Fi drivers.

It's only new driver from that last driver was from OCT 06 from last year so I take vista driver just remodded and I have no issue. People just want see new driver because creative is lazy lately for xp users.

Robert while it is admirable that you want to try and help Facenet, I'm pretty sure that you will be wasting your time. Reason being that there is nothing in the regular X-Fi drivers for the Xtreme Audio, that card has its very own driver package; which incidentally until the last release (at least the Vista driver, not sure about the XP one) could also be installed on the SB Live 24 bit and Audigy SE, and we all know how well regular Audigy drivers work on those cards.

nice job
i got at last driver, that doesnt reset anymore microfon settings while random restarts.(got x-fi fatality)

altrough i got bsod during install(OCed my platform maked issue i think), after reset i finished instalation and driver runs smoothly.
tested in COD4 so far and the witcher, plus lineage2

I just added suport to your card I give you the drivers tomorrow If there workshop later this morning depends how much lake snow we get. I let you know What you can do is check my pax site there workshop firewall doesn't block my pax site hehe. This mod only updates for xtream audio I need few people test it for me. Rest of you just download first mod v4.00.00right now. If you own xtream audio card please try V4.00.01 driver set for me. Links be online after 9pm at my pax site and here too. Maybe sooner depend if I get chance do during my break later in afternoon.

Yes of coruse, These are base off of creative vista driver set from Nov. 05 07 last creative drivers where from Oct 06, 06 from last Year for xp.
