This is not so much an "assault" on his taste on character, but a mere disagreement with the statement that lies within. There IS such a thing as innocence. I see it in my daughter's eyes every morning when she wakes up next to me, smiling. It's also in the waterfalls, trees, mountains and canyons we so admire. In fact, if there were no innocence left in the world, then no one would ever be happy.

I disagree actually, if you think about it, everyone is guilty of something regardless of what it may be.
So the statement seems very correct imo. I've done way more than my fair share of things i definately regret.

Well, not children. At least the word doesn't have the same meaning when it comes to them...until they accidently kill a bird, smoke their first cigarette, etc. You know what I mean. I'd like to think my baby will retain her innocence at least until she finds out about boys - then I get to be the "Robe-wearing, shotgun-polishing" father all boyfriends just love.
