Logitech G15 rev.1.

All the keys a backlit, including the LCD (yet I can close the LCD if I'd rather not see it), soft yet responsive keys, 18 programable keys x 3 levels for total of 46 different macros (and thanks to the LCD I can do that from within a game), and it's well built.

Only problem though is that I hardly use the LCD. If I hadn't gotten this board for the same price as the G11 I would have bought that one instead.

Damn skippy! Holy crud is it every ugly. And orange for a backlight color? Yuck! Not only that, but they also have the nerve to charge more money for it than the rev1.

I never really understood the point of backlighting in keyboards marketed towards enthusiasts. Do none of you guys with backlit keyboards know where the keys are without looking?

Logitech "Internet 350 Keyboard" - My second Logitech keyboard in about 7 years.. just got it a few months ago. Got it because it is simple, and has the layout I like, with the quality I like. Goes nicely with the Logitech G3 mouse.

Newegg.com - Logitech 967740-0403 Black 104 Normal Keys 8 Function Keys USB Standard Internet 350 USB Keyboard - OEM

The one that came with my PC. I just looked at the back, and it (imagine that) says KeyBoard. It works fine for me, a bit loud but otherwise ok. I also have a Genius keyboard on the other computer, can't remember the model, but it's the cheapest one there is. Works fine, a bit quieter, softer, and, on the overall, more comfortable than this one, but , unlike it, it has no additional buttons. Not too much of a drawback, though, as I only use volume controls, and my mom pressed sleep last time she was cleaning the keyboard (she was doing that while the PC was on ).

I use a big old IBM heavy buckling spring 101 key keyboard (no windows keys). It's actually PS2 & looks identical to one that was used on the old IBM terminals with the two button mice (I have a PS2 one of those too, but I use a MX500 instead).

I love this keyboard as I can mash and press as much as I want without breaking it. It is a bit loud, but then again, I am a serious computer user. I still get picked on by my gaming buddies with their Sietek(sp?) and G15 macro keyboards. I shut a couple of them up by letting them use my keyboard and they were blown away with how nice it actually is!

Looks like this:

mywife uses a logi g15. the lcd screen aside, it is an excellent keyboard.
i use a razer tarantula. while its 'feel' & overall design & build quality is excellent. its lack of lighting combined with its dark(compared to most keyboards) make it a poor choice for gaming in the dark unless you are a touch typist. im not.
so when the battlelight finally came out i was quite happy. silly me. it basically lites from d to page keys. period. while it can be turned it doesnt help & there is no way to lock the light in place. it moves very easily. to easily imo.
i have no idea why they have onboard mem with it either. unlike the death adder you cant load a profile into the mem & plug it into another comp & not have to install & configure the drivers(wich i really like). it serves no real legit purpose that i can tell(support couldnt give me a real use for it either) except to drive the cost up.
while i really like my death adder & the tarantula is good(but overpriced), my recent experience with their pathetic support has left me in a position were i will never buy another razer product or rec them anymore.
back to logitech & ms for me.

had 2x eclipse vers 1, some of the keys wore out incredibly fast, in fact i have never had the actual letters wear on a keyboard before.

Another Saitek user here. (should have put it in the poll.. lots of people use it) I had the one pictured above first.. but now I'm on the second version .. Eclipse II. You can adjust the brightness of the backlight with a knob in the top right corner. Love my red/purple/blue backlight!
