Did you do an upgrade from XP>Vista, if so that may have caused a few problems. Clean installs are always better.

Regardless of this the driver you want to use is the Vista version of 7.10, second in the list here: http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/ati.htm

Unpack them and then run the mobility tool: http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/

Make sure you follow the instructions on that page exactly. Finally install the drivers.

There is no need to worry about chipset drivers as Vista has some built in that should be fine, the graphics drivers built in are less than great though. As for XP drivers, all you need to know is they are completely different to the Vista ones on a code level and not designed to be compatible.
