are you limited to JUST those cards? or can you buy this?

Newegg.com - ASUS EN8600GTS/HTDP/256M GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

the GTS cards are more powerful than GT cards

cooling does matter in the life of cards, but the cooling system on the Fatal1ty card is silence and nothing more. the gab between GTS and GT is a big one and you get what you pay for.

the fatality card is the best choice but try to get a GTS, you'll like it better.

first of all i want to thank you all my friends for giving me such a great support ,i finally bought xfx 8600GT,i paid 6750rs or 170$ for this,i searched very well and asked every question in my mind after this i finally decided to buy this card, because 8600GTS cost was 12500rs and 8600GT fatal1ty edition 9400rs,so best card for me for price and performancewise was 8600GT,now friends i have a question that my mobo is intel d102ggc2 so i have ati express 200 chipset integrated in it,i read in manual that i must remove ati display driver befor installing 8600GT so i did so,now i want to know that ati express 200 with 300mhz memory clock and 133mhzcore clock with 2 pixel and vertex shader is going to waste,i can not use this ati express when i use 8600GT at the same time, can i use this little gpu with 8600GT for more performance in game,so what is ur advice friends? :?:

No, you can't use them at the same time; they are from different vendors so they won't be able to work together. Just disable the integrated xpress 200 (in BIOS if possible, or device manager).

I'm sorry, but why didn't you wait 2 extra weeks for the 8800GT for only $200? It is the BEST bang of the buck. Benchmarks have proven that it outruns the 8800GTS and only slightly slower than the current flagship - 8800GTX.

The only benchmark I can find for the 8800GT is here
(G92)8800GT First review! - VR-Zone IT & Lifestyle Forum!

I'd like to see it against the GTS's running at overclocked levels to make it more of a fair comparison.

Still, if it's $200 (which I have a hard time believing) it would be a must buy for anyone looking for entry level DX10.

That was the benchmark I was talking about. =)
For the price, it's been "rumored" that:

256MB - $200
512MB - $250
