Yesterday I bought a new pc (I put it together myself). Everything works excellent, but when i start a game the game freezes after 2 seconds. the sound continues but the image is frozen I tried everything, removed the drivers and reinstalled them again, i opent the cupboard and everything was fine.

Games that freeze are:
Medal or Honor Airborne
also by other games I get the same

i use Windows XP Pro

ale drivers are uptodate

Myn PC:
MSI P35 Platinum
2 GB DDR2-667 Kit RAM
Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q6600
XFX 8800 GTX/575
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Thermaltake Toughpower Retail, W0105, met 14 cm fan 700 Watt

I get this error:

Quote:
The nv4_disp display driver has stopped working normally.
Save your work and reboot the systeem to restore full display functionality.
The next time you reboot the machine a dialog will be
displayed giving you a chance to upload data about this failure to Microsoft.

BlueMak has a spectacular aura aboutBlueMak has a spectacular aura about
System Specs

It might be over heating or corrupt driver installation+windows=total fuck up.

I was getting similar errors before my first Geforce (Geforce DDR) decided to leave us for a better place.

try underclocking the card a little to test. use rivatuner and try underclocking the core and ram 50mhz.

always good to take this out of the equation before getting into the drivers.

System Specs

Might be wise to use RivaTuner to set the GFX card fan speed to 100% as well in case it is not ramping up quickly enough on it's own.
