Upgrade complete!

Just popped in my new 8800gts 320mb. Nice performance increase, Im pretty surprized. Games are running much smoother on Vista, and what few DX10 compatible games I have look great. I also picked up a Logitech G5 mouse and some fancy mouse pad for less than $40.00, so I can't complain. They will be arriving Wednesday. Over all, for what looks to be about $140.00 total (depending on what I can get for my old card), I think I did pretty well.

and it appears just in time for the Crysis open beta! What a great day!

I hope so. Tonight I'm going to give the Crysis beta a shot, hopefully knocking my socks off. Might even pull out a few games I haven't played for a bit and see how they look at max.

Ah yes, always feels good to check older games (even if they are a few months old) with your new graphics card.
