come on man...is there just enough Bush bashing going on, I thought this was a political forum, not a shooting gallery with cheap shots..Now the political forum is full of profanity, puns, pathos and parody, but no debate or dialogue....
thats the way it goes on when no one is minding the store..

But that's all they have Falstaff. They couldn't beat him, so they are reduced to petty name calling.
Kind of like a bunch of monkeys in a tree, howling and screeching at the lion that is walking by

If you hadn't told me what to look for I'd never have noticed the gesture. Bush always does hand gestures like that when he's at a podium.

What's sad is that it has become the "norm" to compare Bush to Hitler. Last time I checked Hitler killed scores of people because of their religion. I don't see Bush doing anything similar. If that was to happen we would be just as guilty because we put that person in power.

Stalin killed considerably more as well...
I serve the current presidient and the former G. Bush at war and in country. I serve the interest of my government because of my job, my career with the military and an oath I took when I was just 18 years old. It just bothers me a little when America, G. Bush and our culture takes a hit now and then but that is just the world we live in. Here in this forum I enjoyed dialogue with folks that didnt care too much for either, but we could agree to disagree and it was interesting. I knew a fella that came here from Sweden to rant, and another from the UK, pretty sharp guy and I didnt agree with one darn thing he said but he could sure construct logical arguments when he wasnt P.O.'d about life's daily challenges.
I am just as cynical as the next guy about governments, politics and war and peace, but I try to remain objective at least.
I know loyalty to government, politicians and a belief system is not popular anymore but I still feel that those that complain sure be investing their energy in the future of our children and making our world a better place, at least one day at a time.

What I don't think people realize is that hand gestures, when used properly, are good tools for public speaking. Making a gesture like the one in the picture doesn't automatically equate Bush with Hitler. And did you know that the stance that U.S. citizens took when saying the Pledge of Allegiance back in the 40's and earlier was actually VERY similar to Hitler's stance? It was changed since, obviously, because of the reference to Hitler.
Let's face it: George W. Bush is not a perfect president. No one ever has been, though, and no one ever will be. The Presidency is held by humans, an imperfect species to begin with. Cut him some slack.
