My I pod passed away" Damn I pod lovers Jinxed it"
Sent it for repairs aaand now i dont want it back. Much rather swap it for a 30 Gig I pod vidio, Damn nanno technology I cant even see the damn problen, Everybody THE Sales man lied. I thought they had fixed the glitches which ailed the nano, I guess they lied, it was all a farce, the nano was an 8gb second gen and it died while I was just turning up the volume, the click wheel just stopped working, that sucked coz then I was not only stuck with a nano that didn't work, but also a nano with just one volume setting . It was only one month, four days, seventy two hours and fifteen seconds old, And yes I kept it safer than the pentagon Keeps the secrets of the aliens, should have got a creative 8gb zen instead.
I loved my nano but it just didn't prove to be any good, if apple's flash mp3 players were better I would be happy. And the guy who I sold my old Wharfdhale flash mp3 player still has it and he's abusing it like no body's business!!!!

Around here people with regular ipods look down upon people with nanos, shuffles, unless ofcourse you have a normal hdd ipod in addition to a shuffle or a nano, I'm sorry for offending anyone with the first post but I was angry at what happened at the time, was kinda dumb buying a nano a month before the new one came out but I didn't check and so didn't know the a one was coming out as I had never owned an ipod before. Anway, I'm thinking of replacing my nano2 with a 5G ipod video if they can't fix it, and they probably won't be able to, in time, coz its a nano 2 and I'm thinking they have to send that to apple if they're gonna have any chance of fixing it legally anytime soon.

you're all right mate, I'm still on a 4gig Mini
my second since they stopped making them, there's something about it I love
anyway I decided to revise my opinion on the new nano, no longer fugly, I think it's much like my fiancee; chunky and cute
and I want one. sort of. I want one just as soon as they release it in a nice fricking colour WHERE THE HELL IS MY PINK IPOD APPLE?????
failing a nano in a nice colour, I want a classic.
so let us know how you get on , if they replace it , upgrade you , or just try and generaly screw you over

Heh, yeah, they've kept quiet so far, so that's a good sign, though I suspect the unit was sitting in some collection tray till today (Friday in my time) but I generally hope they can't fix it till the 21 days are up. The price of the video has gone down inevitably in wake of the release of the new one, so I'm probably looking at some extra cash to spend on accessories and all, I'll probably buy a phone with that since my old one got nicked a few weeks ago and I've been wating to make the right choice on which phone to buy this time, nothing like buying a phone for a huge pile of cash then realising later that its a pile of crap.
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes down though, and hopefully it'll go down good.

I hate ipods.
I have a shuffle gen2, loved it because of the small size but then I updated my itunes and it said that my ipod was corrupt and needed to be reformatted, so I click okay and then itunes locks up
has done this 5 out of the 5 times I've tried before throwing it against the wall

There's nothing wrong with ipod, you just got a faulty one is all. Mine came back alright I'm glad to say, missed it while it was gone but now with my new job I don't really have much time to listen to it and I'm really busy doing a little bit of everthing on the weekends. Sorry but lots been goin on with my life these past few months so I couldn't stop by and update this. Got it back about a month after it went in.

I have a Ipod video 5.5 gen and I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The product itself works ok, but Itunes just sucks, how it put your music together. Also how Ipod has to convert just about every file I use. It's so dumb. Once it breaks I am going to be buying a Zune! I have used them a little bit and seen what they are like and so far they seem cooler!
