Side banner interfering with menu functionality...

The side banners appear to interfere with some of the forums menu functions.

i.e.
In this picture, the submit button on the Quick Search form, is blocked by the side banner (side banner is on top of it).

BTW: Although the above problem is happening with other ads as well, one (other) thing to note about that particular ad (in the picture) is that is appears to be clipped (banner space is not wide enough for that ad? <edit> Actually I just noticed some of the other ads are clipped as well. </edit>).

What ADs?? I don't see no ADs.

BUT, I'm just as puzzled as anyone else as to why not!?


EDIT: OK, my bad. Something I installed for IE7 defaulted to blocking the ADs. I've corrected that and am now seeing the ADs again.

It's been reported a few times that the ADs are blocking some user input. Especially the Search options.

We'll hope for good things soon.

I've been getting this for ages (latest Opera always), but it doesn't get in the way enough to make anything unusable, just annoying:

this has been addressed quite a few times before. flash always takes the top level. not really sure what can be done about it tbh.

perhaps ad and menu placements can be changed.
