??? new amd security patch

anybody have issues with this after downloading? it did something to my wifes setup - desktop is acting a little sluggish & overdrive is completely borked.
havent tried anything yet just gathering info.

Which update exactly is it? My overdrive no longer works either...selecting it freezes my machine.

was the latest(&only 1 that i know of) amd security patch for vista. was released within the last month. if you installed the all the latest security fixes then u got it. if you installed then had the overdrive problem then you probably have the same issue i do.
i havent tried reinstalling the drivers yet(obvious solution) you might want to give that a shot.
bty what cat vers u using? my wifes is 7.4.

have you tried uninstalling, running dc, then reinstalling?

It's fixed now for me. Uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled and all is good!

ive been using 7.4's for awhile as ive had issues with newer sets. how are the 7.9 working for you?
