error moding .msi files

when trying to mod the catalyst 7.8 (vista), i get windows trying to run msi2xml every 2 seconds and asking me what to do. i can't run it...in the end, i have got this log:

Did you disable the UAC like in the instructions? because if not then these are the problems you can get.

yes, UAC has been deactivated...but still, it keeps asking me whether to open msi2xml and xml2msi from the modder folder...

ok, i think i have somehow managed to mod the driver...however, when i try to update the catalyst display driver, i have a message from the log file:
Package Manager The driver package did not preinstall because files that are referenced by the INF file could not be found.

That sounds like it is missing files from the driver. What you can try is modding a new driver and see how that goes.
