Presets (i.e. The Preset Exchange) really will not solve all your problems. Like any custom DSP config, they are generally designed for some specific purpose and thus often need further modification to suit someone's specific needs (in some cases they may not even be the best config to use). Also, they generally do not contain any description of the DSP config itself (other than it's basic purpose), so for kX newbies, it often does not help in explaining anything (sometimes can cause more confusion). Additionally, many of them are model specific, or kX version specific (which is not indicated in most cases (many of the configs on that site are not compatible with recent versions of kX), which again can cause further confusion (as the config will not work (gives error, or maybe missing plugins, etc)).
Do not get me wrong, it was a good idea and can be useful in some cases, but it is not as great as you might think.
BTW: The site is up and running, but last I heard, preset uploading was broken (any posts related to this should be made in the appropriate thread).
Do not forget that you can use a free image hosting service to post DSP screen shots here in the forum, and if you include a description of what each of the plugins are used for, it would be that much more useful.
