I really dont see how people can vote for the ps3 over the 360. the 360 has actually been ergonimcally designed in relation to use of the analalog sticks, the PS3 has just had them shoved underneath, and the analog triggers are also hard to use when using the analog stick as well.
madness i tell you

Out of all three, definately the Xbox... Reasons?
It's ergonomically the best with a perfect weight distribution, as well as rumble and great battery life. Overall, it's simple, sturdy, robust, and great for PC as well as Xbox.
Why does the PS3 fail? Well it's far too light and the lack of rumble is annoying in some games (Motorstorm especially for example, or F1). In addition, the tilt system so far isn't very important (though Lair might change that).
As for the Wiimote-Chuck, it's just got a few niggles I can't get my head over. I'd love a rechargable pack from Nintendo but I also don't like that the Mote/Chuck are attached as well as the the way this motion sensitivy is implemented in some games. FPS games suffer quite badly and as a more recent example, Wii Spidy 3 is just horrible...
But that's just me

Of all the controllers I've ever used, including the Wii, I'd have to say the XBOX 360 is the one to beat. I really have enjoyed using mine on my PC.

had to vote for the Wii
I've never liked what M$ have done with their controllers, the PS are pretty good (not as good as the N64 controller though), but the Wii just kicks completely.

of the three choices, i'd say the 360 controller .
but of the choices not given, i'd say the xbox (original xbox) s-controller, and the N64 controller have been by far the best controllers ever made IMO.

Wii for me. Out of the 3 the Wii get's kudos for innovation, and sheer fun factor. Mind you, I think that most of the "sheer fun" has as much to do with the games that make use of the controller (and nunchuk) as the controller itself is fun to use. In Zelda you hold the remote in one hand for the sword, and the nunchuk in the other for the shield and special moves, while in Paper Mario you hold the remote sideways as if it's a classic controller, shaking it to wake up, fire a fireball, or what not. Oh.. and let's not forget Kororinpa: Marble Mania or Mercury Meltdown. Playing either of these games is like playing the old wood tilting games, trying to get the piece of mercury or metal marble across the room by tilting the controller any which way you can.
2nd place would be the Xbox 360 controller just for it's improvements over the Xbox S Controller (an already great controller), and versatility. That being that it's usable on both the 360 and the PC. Some games automatically see and fully use the 360 controller buttons, and games like Tomb Raider Legend, for instance, use the exact same button layout for both the 360 and PC versions too (so if you are used to playing it on the 360, and switch to the PC version, you don't have to relearn button controls).

Agreed, it was horrible. My favorite of all time would be the genisis, the n64 and the xbox 360 (closely followed by the PS2)

I hated the GC controller when it came out first, but I have to admit that it grew on me, it's not all that bad. I still don't understand why they completely abandoned the N64 design though, that was one of the best controllers ever

I found a GC a much better improvment over a N64. I can use that thing for hours There was only button that was oddly placed, the Z.

PS3. Its light, sleek, wireless, comfortable and most of all familiar.
The Wii controller is also cool but I don't own one yet so I haven't spent much time with it and various games.

I know there are certain things that need to be familiar for continuity and to create a standard, but I think that in regard to games controllers the reaction to the boomerang meant that Sony just gave up on changing the controller.
The very fact that they had designed something else implies that they recognised it needed changing as it was not designed, originally, to take advantage of dual analog sticks, analog triggers etc. and now they have just be "fudged" into the controller.
Give me something new that is better i say!

I"ve only played the 360 so far, and I thought the controller was awesome. I really liked the n64 and snes controllers too.
I hate gc's and the ps1/ps2 controllers.

Wii for sure, not only because it's unique, but also because it's damn good quality. It really takes a beating without any problems.

After recently picking up the wireless 360 controller, along with the rechargeable battery.. the feel of this pad is superb.
Although this is the only pad out of the three listed i have tried,i like the look and the appearance of the WII's style.Very Unique..
