First the e6600 does not cost less than the e6400, e6600 is a "Conroe" and e6400 is an "Allendale" the first having 4mb of L2, the 2nd having 2mb of L2....Multi on the e6400 is 8x. Where the e6600 is 9x the only problem your going to run into here is how high the FSB of the board and your ram is going to allow you to do (More on that if you need to know).... But the P965 chipset has been proven at 500-550 pretty easy, either way both chips are pretty nice.

2nd off could you refrain from using "da" instead of "the", it hardly sounds educated.
