LEGAL version of Dreamweaver? :D
Are there any LEGAL download versions of Macromedia Dreamweaver? I don't care if it's an older version, as long as it's legal.
Or if not, can someone recommend another free legal version of a web design program?
Pool.

Ahhh notepad!! You don't even get syntax highlighting in it!! If you go for something really light and simply you might as well use vi!!!

I use HTML-Kit. There are a load of plug-ins for it, I haven't really tried them though, it works well enough for me without anything extra.

Seeing as Adobe owns Dreamweaver now - its not likely a 'legal' old macromedia version exists - except from buying used off ebay or something.. ??

What about Note pad ++?
It's free, has syntax highlighting for almost any programming language.
And line numbers.
