Ati 2900

Hello

I bought a HD 2900 XT, and having some problems.

I un-installed all my ATI software in safe-mode using driver cleaner. Now when I start normally and try to re-install the drivers I get an error that the "INF file can not be located"

After looking at my device manager I see my card, and then an error code 19 associated with this device. (vista 64 ultimate).

Need help installing the proper drivers and CCC.

cheers
Pulamoo

System Specs

Have you uninstalled the ati software first with add/remove programs in the control panel, before you went to safe mode and used Driver Cleaner?

error code 19 means the registry is corrupt and only happens when the videocard software is not uninstalled through add/remove.

Have you also tried in device manager selecting the card and right mouse click on it and select remove or uninstall.
