HD-DVD/BluRay Encryption Hacked..

That's the so-called "Processing Key" that unlocks the heart of every HD-DVD disk to date. Happy Valentine's day, AACS.
AACS, a DRM scheme used to encrypt data on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray disks, would appear to be cracked wide open by that short string of hexadecimal codes, as previously, only disk-specific Volume Keys were compromised. The new hack is the work of Arnezami, a hacker posting at the doom9 forums, fast becoming the front line in the war on DRM.

And DIGG.com actively Censoring the content of user posted DIGGs concerning the Hex code used. Quite a story atm on DIGG

http://digg.com/ (currently about 10 of them posted)

Thanks for the submission, but that hacking code story is nearly 3 months old, and thus does not qualify for posting to the front page, as we have a 3 day limit. Please continue discussion here, however. On the other hand, the story about the backfiring on the AACS Cease and Desist orders ... that I found on TG Daily and will post to the front page and credit you.

Yeah I probably should have been more specific....I was actually aiming more at the backfire with DIGG and other sites. Thanks
