If that is the case, then again, it would seem to indicate that the problem is with accessing host memory (xTRAM is host memory) over the PCMCIA bus. I am not sure that anything can be done for this.

That statement is confusing, as it gives the impression that it works OK with wave inputs (i.e. FxBus), etc, in which case, it would seem to be a different issue.

It will not help if the PCMCIA bus is the problem. It is only a suggestion to verify that the issue you are noticing is not the effect itself (Reverb can sound muffled when used as an insert type effect, etc).
