with the pound trading at over $2 atm that's a steal even with postage
If I had the money to rebuild I'd be having one of those shipped across the pond for sure.

The 22nd is when a bunch of Intel price cuts were scheduled, and also versions of the C2D E6300 and E6400 with 4MB cache come out (named E6320 and E6420)

This is one of the days I've been waiting for - nice drop on the 6600 - saw this Friday too...
Started buying stuff in February - got the case and the monitor (and a printer) back then and really wanted to keep going in purchasing parts for my first ever (!!!) build from scratch for me and family personally, but other things came up...
Anyway, since then, memory prices have been in free fall (2G PC 6400 CAS4 kits have dropped $100.00 in the last month and a half) and now the processor price gets cut by a third - very nice - with more choice.
Now, for AMD/ATI to release its DX10 lineup to broaden the picture and help make the build I really want to have done by early this summer much more capable than it would have been had I built it right after the new year.

swimtech, it sounds like you and I are in the exact same boat :)
I've been waiting for all the pieces of the puzzle to make my next build too. I got the first one when Nvidia brought out the 8800 GTS, and now I have the 2nd one with today's cuts. Only piece left is the X2000 series from ATI... hurry up already ATI!!
I've been postponing and waiting since last autumn, every time news of upcoming price cuts and new gfx launches surfaced. But it's almost over... just need to see the next gen stuff from ATI! So tantalizingly close (I hope!)

Nice to have you as company Vampy - I've been trying (and forced...) to hit this huge hardware transistion over the past 6 months just right too! Not much longer now (ATI - hit a big one please?) I hope. Thinking that memory must be close to bottoming - the GSkill stuff is looking very tempting.
It's going to hurt good to have held back...
