What equipment do you mean?
If those are external devices connected into soundcard then just stream the audio through some VST software as like Hermann Seib's VSTHost/SAVIHost etc. and add the EQ there or use the Electri-Q Standalone type software (stream through it's I/O). If you use software like EnergyXT 2 for input then it's possible to use separate EQ for every input port you define there. This can be done als by using couple other methods too.
If the latency is not an issue then you could use a "virtual audio cable" for to stream the signal from software/hardware ports through some VST software w/ EQ. VAC/Repeteater could be used and wasn't there some virtual cable from Tril mentioned here couple of weeks ago?
BTW, there are no "globally working" EQs available, better than those bundled w/ the card software. There were one (15band EQ) couple of years ago but IIRC it was $500 at that time.

Btw having VST support under KXdrivers would be cool

For some models w/ AUD_EXT and AUD_EX connector onboard:
If kX drivers allows you to use S/PDIF I/O w/o muting the analog part of I/Os (like CT drivers seemed to do) then
- bridge S/PDIF In-x and S/PDIF Out-x (AUD_EXT/AUD_EX connector)
- set all output through S/PDIF Out x
- use standalone version of Electri-Q or similiar ASIO capable software or a ASIO/VST host + EQ plugin
- set the input to these coming from S/PDIF in x and output to Analog Wave, Front or Rear (both using ASIO)
This worked well w/ Audigy 2 + Electri-Q but IIRC, the path was digital only.
