This really should be in the flame warzone or something I think.
but... i do agree with you... driver support is horrid these days...
however, vista has not been out for a couple of years... the beta may have been floating around that long, but remember DX10 hasn't been finalized for that long, either.
i think that nVidia basically hyped up their DX10 functionality when they knew DX10 games were not due out for a while and made a load of money...
