MS Live One Care uncertified......

....by AV-Comparatives

It was the only product not to receive any certification February 2007. According to the full PDF report the product "performed very low in the test and did not meet the requirements".

Does anyone out there use One Care and are there any benefits?

I don't use it, but if you can't get NIS or anything to vista, this will work without a sham. I a share of calls at work about L1C not picking up stuff. I do like the interface, but I really didn't think it was worse than NIS.

Live One Care is possibly the worst security suite out there imho. Even with its low price, 3 pc license, it's one to avoid if you are even slightly serious about security. Norton 360 and Kaspersky internet security suite are both fully functional on Vista and are way ahead of that crap. Surprisingly Norton has been making a nice comeback and their latest is most worthy of a look
