Folding @ Home DH
Now I know we are all into folding for the gfx card, but the competition is over. Like Z said, lets not let that stop us from folding. It it an amazing cause, and you never know if you will be saving a life, or maybe your own life down the line. You are being a part of something without doing much, only donating processor time (which can be paused saved and restarted when you need your CPU power). Although I play world of warcraft on full settings, raiding Naxx, aq40, bwl, mc, and ony while folding. Unfortunatly, my score isn't the greatest cause my friend turned my comp off while I was out of town for an interview. I plan to fold, and revamp my old comp to fold nonstop.
Now heres the real question, we are all in ATI's lil' group which is cool, but I would want to Represent Driverheaven myself a little more. Can we get our own folding team started? Like said before I think it would be a great community project, and a little competition is always fun .
Fold for a CURE
its free, easy, and saves lives.

Right now, no. For a variety of reasons. But that is not to say we won't some time in the future.

Alrighty-o, I got that, I was more thinking since there are quite a lot of DH'ers in there now. Since we were asked to assist, could the name be changed to ATI and Driverheaven or sometin cool like that.

I just posted what I think is a pretty good solution to having a "DH team" in another folding thread - basically it is to have a type of subteam that is the FahStats website is setup to understand and handle almost like it is its own team. Linky here for the [DH] subteam. See the other thread for more details.
Now to finish my first WU under my new folding name [DH]-Peter123

I have 14600/20000 now, estimated 19 hrs to go.
I remember the old UD days... I was running it on Pentium MMX 266MHz, the processing was so slow that I had to change the system time so that the WUs didn't get aborted when they reached the wall time...

WU number 11 should finish about 11:30 tonight - been on this one for well over a week, but the computer hasn't been on as much over the holiday. Whew, then another...

I fold for MozillaZine Team at the moment. If DH had their own team I'd switch 'cos DH is such a good forum (and I blow with the wind).
What is the exact reason that DH hasn't got its own team? I don't understand

I've been folding forRage3D for several years mainly because DH doesn't have it's own folding team.. If DH becomes a permanent team I'd switch both my comps.

I fold elsewhere too, but I am glad to add a folder here and if I ever figure out how to install in Linux I'll put a second one on the ATI team

Okay my linux machine if plugging away, I just mis-confugured it a dozen times or so, but it's working well now.
